West Brom could be dealt a blow in their hunt for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack, with the midfielder insisting he is happy with the Lancashire club.

Speaking in a lengthy interview with the Sun, Dack spoke on numerous subjects, including his future and interest from other clubs, but appeared to show he is happy where he is at Ewood Park.

“I could have left Blackburn but I’m way happier now than the time I could have left Gillingham, It’s a massive a massive club, I love being here, everything is here to go to the next level."

“I had conversations with the manager and the club and they said they didn’t want me to leave, so I told them I’ll leave it with you, I want to stay, I won't kick up a fuss, I want to be here and if an offer comes in they accept it, then it out of my hands then it becomes my decision."

Dack was the star of the show for Rovers last season as they romped to promotion from League One, and the midfielder - who is also attracting interest from the Premier League - has made an excellent start to life in the Championship, helping his team to a comfortable mid-table start thus far.

The former Gillingham man was out of sorts somewhat initially for Blackburn, but has turned his career and life round it would seem, and could well be on the way to the very top if he can continue his fine form.

The verdict

Make no bones about it, Dack is a class act, and it's easy to see why there has been so much interest in him.

However, this news will please Rovers fans, and it's refreshing to see a player come out in full support of his situation and manager.
