Steve Madeley of the Athletic has shared the West Brom concerns that stand about the rest of this season, as we head towards the restart of the campaign in the middle of this month.

Great excitement has grown in recent days with both the Premier League and Championship revealing their restart dates - close together ready for an entertaining run-in.

Indeed, Albion will be hoping to seal the deal in terms of promotion with them in second place but, with Fulham just six points behind them in the table, there is still time for them to slip-up.

Have these 15 current and ex-West Brom players ever played in the Premier League?

And the concern for the Albion is, if Fulham leap-frog them and then the season is curtailed if things deteriorate in this country once more, they'll be left rather high and dry.

The Verdict

It's a situation that has never been contended with before and it's also, in terms of what could happen in the future, one that has never had to be considered.

If Fulham do jump them, though, and then things are called off it will be a bitter pill to swallow but, for Albion, they are in the driving seat and the best thing to do would be to get the foot down hard in the first few weeks back and get the job done.
