Darren Moore is currently preparing West Bromwich Albion for their return to the Sky Bet Championship.

A disappointing year in the top-flight has left the Baggies facing a return to the second-tier, with faith placed in Moore to guide the club back to the Premier League next season.

Of course, Moore’s first focus will be on the summer transfer window, with a lot of work to be done.

It is likely that Moore will be losing some of his star men this summer, with Jay Rodriguez one man linked with a move away from the Hawthorns.

The striker is attracting interest from Burnley and Bournemouth this summer, with reports from the Birmingham Mail confirming that West Brom are looking to recoup £18m from his sale.

Should Rodriguez leave the Hawthorns in the coming weeks, West Brom will need to reinvest the money from his sale elsewhere.

Here at FLW, we take a look at THREE players his fee should be reinvested in…

Flint would be a superb addition at the Hawthorns and the ideal centre-back to lead West Brom’s promotion push next season.

The 28-year-old has been superb for Bristol City over the last 12 months, proving to be one of the Championship’s best centre-backs.

Hernandez is available on a free transfer this summer, but West Brom should reinvest some money into his high wage demands.

The striker will leave Hull City for free this summer, but will attract plenty of interest.

Hernandez scored eight goals in 10 appearances for the Tigers last season and could be the ideal replacement for Rodriguez.

Ultimately, if West Brom are to win promotion, they’re going to need goals.

Bonatini spent the last year on-loan with Wolves in the Championship, scoring on 12 occasions to help West Brom’s fierce rivals to promotion.

It looks unlikely that the 24-year-old will be returning to Molineux, but the Al-Hilal striker has excellent attributes to thrive elsewhere in English football.
