West Brom's Belgian winger Nacer Chadli is in talks to leave the Hawthorns according to reports from Turkey, as reported by Birmingham Live.

Turkish TV station Haber Global claims the former Spurs player has already agreed terms with the Super Lig side Besiktas, with only the negotiations between the clubs left to finish off.

Chadli played a big role for Belgium as they finished third in this summer's World Cup, but only made five Premier League outings for the Baggies last season as they were relegated from the top flight.

Chadli came to English football in 2013, joining Spurs for a fee of £7m. He played 119 times for them, scoring 25 goals before earning a £13m move to the Hawthorns in 2016.

He's rarely shone for Darren Moore's side, making just 37 appearance sin all competitions, scoring six times. In the World Cup he looked to be back to his best, scoring a late winner for his side in the round of 32 against Japan, a stunning strike that was later voted as the goal of the tournament.

The Verdict

Baggies fans will be delighted to see this move go through, Chadli is worth a few quid in the bank but he's never got going for them.

Him moving on perhaps opens up possibilities of other moves for them, something they'll be keen to see after a rather tepid start to life in the Championship.
