James McClean is a wanted man this summer and it looks as though West Brom want to get a reasonable fee for him before they consider selling up.

The winger has got plenty of ability and is very direct but it looks as though the Baggies could lose him with the likes of Stoke City rumoured to be interested.

And, with that said, the Mirror is reporting that the winger has got a £6m price-tag on his head at the moment which is a fairly significant fee for a Championship club.

Of course, Stoke more than most can probably afford that kind of cash but they will have to still weigh it up as it would likely represent one of their bigger deals this summer.

Gary Rowett seems a fan, though, and so he will probably argue that it is worth the outlay.

The Verdict

It's probably just about fair enough this fee so let's see if Stoke want to buy him for that much.

He's a player capable of causing real problems in the Championship and West Brom will surely want to try and keep him.

If they've placed this price on him, though, they are also willing to let him go for the right fee regardless.
