West Brom have been fantastic so far this season and Slaven Bilic and co are looking to carry on their good run of form as the season progresses.

The Baggies are in a fantastic position as we head towards the end of October and with the final international break of the year coming in November, they will be hoping to keep their place in the top two when they approach the festive period.

One of Bilic's coaches, Danilo Butorovic, told Birmingham Live that the hectic run during December will not have a negative effect on the side but that they will thrive under the packed schedule.

"One thing that makes me very optimistic is the fact that we have got a very big squad. Whoever comes off the bench does well. I’m thinking if we get into that period with everybody in the form they are in now, I think we should be fine.

"I think the ones that suffer the most are the staff, because it is going to be game after game and there is going to be no rest. For the players they can enjoy it, I enjoy it too.

"It’s hard work but it’s good. After every game you come in and are exhausted, especially with our games because we keep going down and coming back. Then if we are winning comfortably we do something that lets the opponent back into the game. I enjoy it a lot."

Albion are back in action this weekend when they welcome Charlton to The Hawthorns.

The Verdict

West Brom will be hopeful of staying up within the automatic promotion places after the play-off heart-break they suffered last season.

The Baggies may look at the run over the festive period as an important part of the season as this could make or break their season. They could use this spell to pick up points and push themselves further away from the play-off places.

The strength in depth will be crucial for the club during that part of the season and Bilic will need to call on all his squad over the coming months.
