West Brom made a massive decision last Saturday after their disappointing 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town when they sacked manager Darren Moore.

The Baggies were sat in fourth place when the decision was made, leading to plenty of local criticism of the club.

11 points separated them from Norwich City, who currently sit in second place with the board clearly panicking that automatic promotion could be slipping out of their grasp.

Club coach Jimmy Shan will take charge of the club for the next two games now as he looks to earn the job until the end of the season, starting with the visit of Swansea City tonight.

But the hunt for the club’s next permanent boss continues.

However, they were handed a disappointing update when news broke that former Fulham and Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic looked unlikely to arrive.

The Serbian only won promotion to the top-flight with Fulham last season and will no doubt have been seen as someone who could do the same with the Baggies.

But how should the fans feel after this latest update?

Well, they should be feeling a whole host of things. Angered by the bizarre sacking of Moore, disappointed that their season had come to this but now, more than anything, nerves.

Jokanovic will have been the man that the vast majority of fans will have wanted to see arrive given his track record, but with that now looking unlikely, nerves should be setting in as to who they may end up with.
