West Brom remain confident in reaching a fresh agreement with Rayhaan Tulloch over a new contract according to Football Insider.

Tulloch is out-of-contract heading into the summer transfer window, and has reportedly turned down previous contract offers from the Baggies.

He has only made three senior appearances for Slaven Bilic's side this term, but has scored nine goals in 14 appearances for their Under-23s side.

It appears as though his good run of form hasn't gone unnoticed either, with Scottish giants Rangers being joined by Marseille and Leganes in the race to land Tulloch's signature.

The report from Football Insider claims that West Brom are making progress in their efforts to tie Tulloch down to a new deal before the summer transfer window, which will be pleasing to hear for the club's supporters.

West Brom are currently sat second in the Championship table, and are six points clear of third-placed Fulham with nine matches remaining in this year's campaign.

However, their bid for promotion has been put on hold for the time being due to recent off-the-field events, with no scheduled return date in place as of yet.

The Verdict:

They'll be eager to get him tied down to a new deal at the earliest of opportunities.

I'm surprised that Tulloch hasn't featured as much in the West Brom senior squad this season, but I expect to see him involved in the near future if he signs a new deal.

He's shown real promise for the club's Under-23s team this season, and could have been tempted to move elsewhere in the search for regular game time in senior football.

Tulloch is a player with a bright future ahead of him, and West Brom will be hoping that it's with them for the foreseeable future.
