West Brom have been dealt a transfer blow with news that West Ham United aren't prepared to sell Grady Diangana according to football.london

Diangana has spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Slaven Bilic's men in the Championship, and played his part in their promotion-winning season.

The Baggies finished second in the Championship, and will be hoping they can build on some impressive showings when they return to the top-flight.

Diangana made 31 appearances for West Brom in all competitions, and it was believed that they were keen to land his signature on a permanent basis.

He chipped in with eight goals and seven assists as well, and certainly made a good impression in his time with the club during his loan spell.

In a recent interview, West Ham boss David Moyes has issued praise for Diangana after his loan spell with West Brom, and is keen to get him back with the Hammers' team.

"It will give him the confidence of being in a winning side, scoring, and playing well so I’m looking forward to getting him back."

The Verdict:

This will be a frustrating update for the Baggies.

Diangana has really impressed me on loan with Slaven Bilic's side, and you would think that the club are very keen to sign him on a permanent basis after a number of strong performances.

He'd be eager to prove himself in the Premier League as well, but he's clearly a player that David Moyes holds in high regard in the Premier League.

Even though he's ruled out a permanent departure for Diangana, that could hint that another loan move could be on the cards in the future though.
