According to the Telegraph, West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Hull City duo Harry Maguire and Sam Clucas this summer, following the Tigers’ relegation from the Premier League.

Marco Silva, who was Hull’s manager during the second-half of last season, has already opted to leave the KCOM Stadium this summer and is expected to be followed by numerous players in the coming months.

Maguire and Clucas are two that could be heading for the exit door this summer, with West Brom interested along with Premier League rivals, Stoke City.

Maguire, 24, was one of Hull’s most impressive performers in the Premier League last season, and despite the club’s relegation, the defender still made 36 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals.

Clucas endured an indifferent 2016/17 campaign, scoring just three goals from 41 appearances for the Tigers and struggling to make a major impact in the Premier League, despite both Mike Phelan and Silva using the midfielder regularly.

Hull may look to keep the 26-year old at the KCOM Stadium, after he was impressive in the club’s promotion campaign during the 2015/16 season, when he scored six goals.

The Tigers could find that retaining the service of Maguire will be more difficult, with Champions League-bound Tottenham Hotspur also interested in the defender.
