Wolves held on with nine men to defeat Middlesbrough yesterday and plant one foot firmly in the Premier League following an excellent 2-1 win at the Riverside.

The Championship leaders were good value for the win and put in a valiant second half display after seeing two red cards disrupt their game and threaten to jeopardise their chance at claiming all three points in the north east.

One of the players to see red was influential summer signing Ruben Neves, and he will now miss the next game with Hull City before hoping to return for the top of the table clash with Cardiff in a few weeks time.

Indeed, Neves took to Twitter today to share a picture and show his love towards his team following his mishap.

Of course, with Neves becoming such a popular figure at Molineux, there was always going to be plenty of responses for the midfielder, and we at FLW were on hand to check out just what Wolves fans had to say to their player of the year candidate...
