There is plenty of positivity around Villa Park at the current time, with Aston Villa looking like a team on the rise in the Sky Bet Championship.

An unbeaten September, including four victories from their last four fixtures, has lifted Villa into play-off contention, with Steve Bruce’s side entering October in seventh, just a single point outside the play-offs.

Villa face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux tomorrow evening, and Bruce delivered good news ahead of that clash, confirming that Jack Grealish had returned to full training.

Grealish has now taken to Twitter to share a message with Villa’s supporters, expressing his delight at returning to training with the first-team.

The 22-year-old has not featured yet this season, after suffering a freak kidney injury late in pre-season.

There were initial fears that Grealish would not feature again in 2017, but he appears to have stepped up his recovery in recent weeks.
