Sheffield Wednesday remain without a win so far this season in the Championship after they were comfortably beaten by Brentford at Griffin Park.

Dean Smith's men were 2-0 winners and it was a thoroughly deserved three points, with the Bees perhaps unfortunate that they didn't win by a bigger margin. Neal Maupay and Ollie Watkins scored the goals in either half.

That will be a major concern for Luhukay and is the latest poor performance from the Owls this season after they were held by Hull and lost to Wigan on the opening day.

Jos Luhukay endured a fairly tough first few months as Wednesday boss having been appointed in January but fans were more forgiving after he was appointed mid-season.

However, they will be alarmed by the manner of today's defeat which has left them in 21st place at this early stage of the campaign.
