Notts County have endured a torrid start to the beginning of their season after being tipped by many to be in the promotion frame.

Investment in the likes of Enzio Boldewijn and Kane Hemmings was expected to bring results, but instead they crashed dismally to the bottom of the table and sacked manager Kevin Nolan.

The poor form was a continuation of their finish to last season where they fell away from the top three to lose in the play offs to Coventry.

With their Football League status at stake, they turned to Harry Kewell to lift them up the table.

They've begun to turn things around, slowly, but it doesn't mean they're out of the woods yet. Some of Nolan's signings haven't impressed and we think that one or two might be available on loan come January.

Here, we look at Notts County players likely to depart Meadow Lane on loan....

Dennis was one of the players thought to be capable of having an impact this season, but he's struggled for games and for fitness.

It doesn't appear as though Kewell fancies him at all, with his last coming in a defeat against Newcastle Under 21s in the EFL Trophy.

They could well be looking at a temporary move away for him to regain fitness and form.

Jones had been a significant player under Nolan, but he's been frozen out by the former Liverpool man and looks destined for a spell away from Meadow Lane.

Aside from the EFL Trophy his last appearance came in the 3-1 defeat against Forest Green.

Hawkridge hasn't played for the new manager either and with his deal up at the end of the season, they may be looking to get him out to another club in January ahead of a move away.

He won the National league with Lincoln and played a key role under Nolan, but Kewell knows wingers and doesn't fancy the former Scunthorpe man.
