Benik Afobe has completed a move to Stoke City, the club's official website announced yesterday.

Afobe joins Stoke from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a six month loan deal with an obligation to buy him for a pre-agreed undisclosed fee in the January transfer window.

This news comes less than two weeks after the 25-year-old joined Wolves on a permanent deal from Bournemouth, following a half-season loan stint at Molineux where he hit six goals to help his club win the Championship title and earn promotion back to the Premier League.

Afobe only hit 10 goals in 63 games for the Cherries in the top flight but his impressive tally of 22 in 46 last time he was at Wolves in the second tier is enough to get Stoke fans very excited on Twitter.
