Wes Hoolahan will leave Norwich City at the end of the season when his contract expires, the club have confirmed on their official website.

Hoolahan has had ten years at Norwich since joining from Blackpool in 2008 but he will now leave the club at the end of the season and start a new challenge elsewhere.

There will be a special send-off for the 35-year-old against Leeds United this Saturday so that Norwich fans can offer their thanks for his service over the past decade.

The former Republic of Ireland international has made 351 appearances for the Canaries, scoring 53 goals and he has featured for the club in the Premier League, the Championship and in League One as well.

Hoolahan will also be given a testimonial, which will take place in the next 12 months.

Here are how Norwich fans reacted to the news that long-serving attacking midfielder Wes Hoolahan is leaving the club this summer.
