Bolton Wanderers are in a worrying spell at the moment, with the club now placed under a transfer embargo for January.
This means that they will be unable to complete the permanent signing of striker Christian Doidge who moved to the club on an initial loan but with an agreement to make the deal permanent in the new year.
The 26-year-old has therefore returned to the League Two side but Bolton chairman Ken Anderson remained confident of striking a deal to keep the striker. A prospect Vince has now dismissed, comically comparing Anderson to Prime Minister Theresa May.
Quote from @DaleVince: “Bolton saying they still think they can get a deal for Doidge reminds me of Theresa May saying she’ll still get a Brexit deal. It’s not going to happen.”

It now looks like Doidge will spend the remainder of the season back with the club he scored 20 goals for last season as they look to win promotion to League One for the first time.
Mark Cooper’s side currently sit in sixth place as they look to secure at least a top seven finish.
For now though, the chairman’s latest comments have caused quite a stir among the fans, including Bolton’s.
Here is what they had to say…
Love the comparison. Very apt. Anderson Out. Up the Dale Vince. pic.twitter.com/mtMVRuXpGp

Can we just clarify that this is 1 man who DOES NOT represent bolton saying this? Please specify what idiot is saying this in your tongue and cheek tweets, making the rest of us look as bad as him.
