Middlesbrough were dealt another injury blow as Anfernee Dijksteel was brought off against Barnsley.

The full-back lasted just over 20 minutes of Wednesday night's clash at the Riverside Stadium when he hobbled off after picking up a knee injury.

He was replaced by Marc Bola who was forced to play on the opposite flank to usual.
