Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani is set to sell a minority stake in the club that will bring additional investment to the Whites this summer.

The Yorkshire Evening Post are reporting that a foreign party will provide the injection of funds that will take the Italian owner's shareholding to around 90 per cent.

Importantly for the club and fans it adds that this investment is expected to be at an advanced stage and that it will provide the management team with more money for the summer window.

Leeds recruitment has been particularly poor in the past 12 months and many fans were calling for a lot of investment in the team as they look to compete for a promotion place next season.

The news comes as Leeds are on their controversial post-season tour to Myanmar although the report states this is not related to the new investment, not that some fans believe that.
