Plenty of Wigan Athletic fans have taken to social media to congratulate Chey Dunkley, after the defender was named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for September.
The 27-year-old has been an extremely important player for Wigan so far this season and has made eleven appearances in all competitions.
The centre-back enjoyed a brilliant month in September, when he scored three goals in as many Championship appearances and helped the team keep one clean sheet.
He scored brace in the 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic at the DW Stadium and but his defensive contribution throughout the month was also key, as he provided a number of key tackles and interceptions.
