Nottingham Forest's Ben Osborn has been crowned as the Player of the Year after getting the majority of the fans votes, with Matty Cash and Danny Fox making up the top three.

It has been a very tough season for the Reds who are destined for a bottom half finish, however Osborn has been one of few positives.

The 23-year old has been an ever-present this season and has shown his versatility with Aitor Karanka using him at left-back for many games since taking over in January. Prior to that, Mark Warburton utilised the player in a more natural central midfield position.

Osborn has hit three goals this season as well, with the last coming in the 2-0 win at Wolves back in January.

There was a mixed reaction from fans after the news, with many praising Osborn's attitude and mentality this season whilst others felt he didn't deserve the award.
