As per The Sun's live transfer blog (10:15am), Nottingham Forest have agreed to sell Jack Robinson to Sheffield United for a 'bargain' deal.

The 26-year-old's contract at the City Ground is set to expire at the end of the season, with Forest looking set to cash in now rather than let him leave for free in the summer.

The defender was solid under Aitor Karanka last term, and has made a total of 59 appearances for Forest since arriving on a free transfer from Queens Park Rangers last term.

But the former Liverpool man has been battling it out with Yuri Ribeiro for a place in the side, with the latter recently becoming Sabri Lamouchi's first-choice at left-back.

Robinson's departure would leave Forest somewhat short at left-back - centre-half Chema has filled in at times this season, but the Spaniard has also been linked with an exit.
