Jamie Shackleton will not have expected to be so involved at Leeds United this season, but the 19-year-old is right in the thick of Marcelo Bielsa’s plans heading into the festive period.

Leeds are without some key personnel in defence already, but Stuart Dallas’ setback has opened the door for Shackleton, who started his second league fixture against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

Bielsa’s side weren’t convincing against the R’s, but they still managed to pick up three points, with Kemar Roofe’s goals either side of half-time helping the Whites to a 2-1 victory.

At right-back, Shackleton was solid, with one fan (@JackTPearson) revealing that supporters around him at Elland Road were singing his name to the tune of ‘Baby Shark’.

It’s something that some supporters loved the concept of, but others were far from convinced by it all.
