Portsmouth owner Michael Eisner has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment with his side's start to the League One season, while also rallying supporters to back the team ahead of their upcoming matches.

The Fratton Park outfit have endured a difficult start to the campaign having only managed to win once in the league, which leaves them sitting just above the League One relegation zone in 20th place.

Kenny Jackett's side suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Wycombe on the weekend, but they must now aim to bounce back ahead of their meeting with local rivals Southampton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Eisner, who has owned the club since 2017, has posted on his Twitter account ahead of the match to acknowledge Pompey's poor run of from, while he also advised supporters to get behind the team ahead of Tuesday's match.
