Brentford had a busy January transfer window, being able to keep their squad together as well as make some key additions to the side late on.
One player that Thomas Frank added to the group he has at Griffin Park is midfielder Shandon Baptiste, who completed his move to the Championship club from League One side Oxford United on deadline day.
The 21-year-old midfielder wasn’t available to feature for Brentford at the weekend as paperwork wasn’t completed by the EFL cutoff time on Friday, however, he is set to become an integral squad player for the rest of the season as the Bees push for promotion.
Baptiste progressed through the ranks at Oxford and became a key star in their midfield, making 43 appearances and scoring five goals since breaking into the team last season, as well as making 21 league appearances on loan for National League South side Hampton & Richmond in the 2017-2018 season.

The youngster trained for the first time with his new team-mates on Monday, and took to Twitter afterwards as he updated the Bees supporters on his first day of training, as well as thanking his agent for making the move happen.
