Plenty of Leeds United fans took to social media to react to a message from midfielder Kalvin Phillips, following the Whites 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town this afternoon.

Leeds extended their winning run to six matches and moved to the top of the Championship table with a hard-fought victory at the John Smith's Stadium thanks to two second-half goals - a brilliant volley from Ezgjan Alioski and a Pablo Hernandez header.

Phillips has been one of the standout players for Leeds so far this season and had started every game in the Championship for the Whites, but he missed the match today through suspension after picking up five yellow cards.

The 23-year-old watched the match from home and took to social media after the game to react to the result.

The defensive midfielder sent a message to Leeds fans on Twitter, admitting that he was a nervous wreck watching the game from home, but he also congratulated his teammates on getting the victory.
