Alex Neil has been looking to bolster his side this January transfer window already, with their latest addition being former Bristol Rovers man Billy Bodin for an undisclosed fee

The 25-year-old was the shining light for League 1 side Bristol Rovers, where he managed to bag himself 37 goals in 81 appearances for the side with 11 of these coming this season.

Bodin has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club as he looks to set the Championship alight, in a Preston North End side that have struggled to find any real consistency of late.

Preston boss Alex Neil was delighted with the signing as he added; "“The good thing is he has got a lot of games under his belt so we are not signing a young kid who is inexperienced. He has got a lot of experience and hopefully that can help us in terms of adding to what we've got at the top end of the pitch."

Bristol Rovers was always a club close to the Welshman's heart, and this could be felt as he took to his personal Twitter account (@BillyBodin9) to thank his previous club and their fans, while stating that he's looking forward to the challenge ahead.

Following the post, as fans took to thanking the midfielder for his time at the club, and wishing him all the best for the future.

Nevertheless, here's a look at exactly what both sets of supporters made of the message...
