Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans have reacted to a message from Joe Worrall on social media, as he begins pre-season training after returning to the club.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Rangers, where he scored two goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish Premiership side.

Worrall has now returned to Forest following his successful loan spell and will be hoping to make a positive impression on his new manager Martin O'Neill in pre-season.

Aitor Karanka was in charge at the City Ground when Worrall was loaned out to Rangers at the beginning of last season, but the Spaniard left the club in January.

O'Neill replaced Karanka in January, but was unable to guide Forest to the Championship play-offs, as the Reds finished ninth in the table, eight points outside the top six.

The Forest players returned to training today for the start of their pre-season campaign and Worrall posted a photo from the session on social media.

The photo caused a reaction from both Forest and Rangers fans on social media.

Plenty of Rangers supporters were quick to thank the player for what he achieved during his time at Ibrox and wished him all the best for his future, while plenty of Forest fans reacted as the player returns to the City Ground.
