A dismal month for Premier League giants Chelsea has been made much worse, with news recently emerging that the club have been hit with a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows.

After breaching FIFA's rules regarding the signing of players aged under 18, the governing body have punished the London club with a £460,000 fine, as well as a two-window transfer ban which could be detrimental in their hopes of pushing for Europe.

This is a big blow for Chelsea - they currently look unlikely to qualify for the Champions League this season after heavy defeats to Bournemouth and Manchester City, and their inability to sign any players could let their rivals jump ahead of them in the race for Europe over the next year.

Thankfully for Chelsea, the club have a plethora of talented youngsters in their ranks that may now be given a chance to impress in the first-team, and become regulars under Maurizio Sarri despite being frozen out over the last year or so.

The likes of Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham have caught the eye out on loan at Derby County and Aston Villa this season, and their performances have certainly satisfied Chelsea fans, enough so for them to want them to feature in the first-team next season.
