Luton Town got back to winning ways last night as the Hatters defeated Sheffield Wednesday by one goal to nil under the floodlights at Kenilworth Road.

It was the Hatters' second home win in three games, and James Collins' 10th league goal of the season in the 23rd minute of the contest proved to be enough for Graeme Jones's side to take the points.

The result lifts Luton off the foot of the table and into 23rd place with 27 points from their 32 league games.

The 30-year-old has had two separate operations in that time on a serious knee injury, but returned to training in January.

He now becomes another member of the squad to have played in every division from the National League up to the Championship.
