Sheffield Wednesday romped to a huge away win this afternoon as they saw off Middlesbrough with ease at the Riverside.

The Owls helped themselves to four goals before half-time and then dominated the second period to see the game out and ensure Garry Monk's men remain unbeaten under his leadership thus far.

An Adam Clayton own goal got the ball rolling for Monk's men before a second a minute later from Dominic Iorfa made it two. Paddy McNair got one back for Boro, but their brief hope of a revival was short-lived as Adam Reach made it three before 25 minutes were even on the clock.

Steven Fletcher then made it four before the end of the opening 45 minutes to conclude a frantic opening period of football.

However, the standout man in the Owls line-up throughout the day was attacking midfielder, Adam Reach. The former Boro man put in a superb showing and as well as getting himself on the scoresheet, he played a part in the other goals too.

Reach's return to form was seemingly greeted with delight by the Owls fans as well, as plenty of them took to Twitter following the game to sing the praises of Reach...
