Plenty of Leeds United fans have reacted to an email from CEO Angus Kinnear on social media, that was sent to club staff the day after the Whites' play-off semi-final defeat to Derby County.

Leeds promotion hopes were brought to an end at Elland Road on Wednesday night, as Derby came from 2-0 down on aggregate to win the second leg of the semi-final 4-3, in one of the most exciting games in recent memory.

The Whites went into the game with a 1-0 advantage from the first leg and took the lead on the night through Stuart Dallas, but Derby staged a remarkable fightback to stun the home crowd.

Marcelo Bielsa's side had challenged for automatic promotion all season, but missed out on a place in the top two, losing three of their final four matches.
