Portsmouth are one of League One's in-form outfits at the time of writing, with last night's 3-2 win over play-off chasing Rotherham United underlining the turnaround that has been overseen at the club by manager Kenny Jackett, who has now seen his side go five league games unbeaten.

The result against the Millers may have been slim, but it underlined the progress that the side has made in recent weeks, with goals coming from three different scorers, including Ben Close's first goal since August.

Pompey dominated possession throughout the contest, with the likes of John Marquis and Ellis Harrison causing the Rotherham defence an all manner of problems, particularly with Harrison possessing the pace to get in behind a slow and sluggish opposition backline.

The result now sees Pompey sitting just two points off the play-off places, meaning that Jackett will be keen to see his side pick up another victory when they take on Peterborough on the 7th December.
