We think there’s more to come from these two Barnsley players

Daniel Stendel has turned the fortunes of Barnsley around this season, albeit in a lower division than they were last time out.

Jose Morais had them looking disjointed and confused, but the German manager has come in and instilled a belief in the players. Many of those at the club remain from the relegated Championship side and therefore should be doing well, but they needed confidence.

The Tykes are well placed for a promotion push, but appear to be a little inconsistent recently. They’ve ground out some great wins, though, none more so than the thumping of Peterborough, but occasionally they look suspect at the back.

There’s been a host of top performers this season – Brad Potts has been outstanding and it would be harsh not to mention Keiffer Moore, left to battle on up front after Tom Bradshaw left the club.

In midfield, George Moncur has looked composed and might finally be reaching the potential he’s always threatened.

There are one or two at the club who might be hoping for a bit more game time, or that could be offering the squad something more than they are right now. FLW looks at TWO such players…
