“We should never have sacked Caldwell” – Twitter reacts to Wigan sacking Joyce

Wigan Athletic today parted ways with Warren Joyce after the former Manchester United coach left them deeply mired in relegation trouble.
After the Latics lost 1-0 to Bristol City in a genuine six pointer, they were left four points adrift of safety as we enter the last nine games of the season.
Warren Joyce has been at Wigan for just a short while after they started the season with Gary Caldwell at the helm.
Wigan have announced that Graham Barrow will take caretaker charge until the end of the season.
Joyce has failed to successfully make the transition from coach to first team manager despite bringing in a host of players during the January transfer window.
Wigan are in real danger of dropping back to League One after winning promotion from the third tier last season.
Wigan Athletic fans reacted to the news of the Joyce sacking and Barrow appointment on Twitter and here are a selection of the best tweets following the official announcements from the club.

why do we have such a short term mindset. The footballs been poor but Joyceys a coach, it takes time.

awful move in the first place. Like the chap but he isn't a first team manager. Never has been and never will be. #upthetics
