Football League World’s Fulham fan pundit David Gadd has slapped a huge price-tag on reported Tottenham Hotspur target Steven Sessegnon.
After signing his brother in the summer, The Sun have now reported that they are ready to move for the Whites right-back, but Gadd is determined to see his side stand firm.
“We should be asking for least £50million,” the regular punter told Football League World.
“Based on his potential and how valuable he is to the team at the moment, I think it should be no less than that figure.
“Steven was supposed to be better than Ryan, if it wasn’t for a big knee injury, and the rumours were [Spurs] wanted the pair together in the summer but Fulham didn’t want to sell Steven.
“So, if they really want him, Daniel Levy better get that chequebook out.”
Spurs splashed around £24million on Ryan Sessegnon in the summer following Fulham’s relegation to the Premier League but this season has seen Steven come to the fore at Craven Cottage, having graduated through the club’s youth system.
The 19-year-old has started the club’s last four Championship matches and is clearly a firm part of Scott Parker’s plans for the forseeable future.
The Whites currently sit in sixth place with six matches played in the second-tier season as they look to make an immediate return to the top-flight.
