‘We need you’, ‘Come back’ – Many Birmingham fans flock to social post after attacker’s late winner

Birmingham City loanee Odin Bailey scored the winner in Forest Green Rovers’ 2-1 victory against Carlisle United last night, which has drawn an interesting reaction from many fans of the Blues.
The 21-year-old joined the League Two side on loan in October and has helped them climb to second in the table, adding two goals and three assists in his 18 league appearances this term.
Bailey helped Forest Green leapfrog Carlisle into the top two last night as they beat the Cumbrian side 2-1 at Brunton Park.
Aaron Collins put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot on the hour mark but Gime Toure grabbed an equaliser in the 72nd minute.
The scores were only level for three minutes, however, as Bailey whipped an outstanding free-kick over the wall and into the top corner to ensure Mark Cooper’s men took all three points back down south with them.
Did each of these 18 ex-Birmingham City players ever score a goal at St Andrew’s?
Forest Green’s match-winner took to Twitter after the game and it seems he’s impressed fans of his parent club, with some quick to share their thoughts on his performance and others calling for him to return to St Andrew’s.
