Fulham were beaten 3-0 on Saturday afternoon by Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, in their final pre-season match before the big Football League kick off next weekend.

Last season's beaten play off semi finalists played host to a side that included international class, including Mario Gomez, Riechedly Bazoer and Koen Casteels, and that class eventually told in the second half.

Goals from John Brooks, also an international with the USA, followed by two second half strikes from Gomez, secured a comfortable win for the German side, as Slavisa Jokanovic finished off the preparations for a season he hopes will end in promotion.

Lots of the reaction to the match centred around comments from Jokanovic, that he was not happy about the way the club has conducted its transfer business, with many fans urging the club to listen more to the Serb, through fear of losing their inspirational manager.

Others noted that the match was against another class of opposition and preached the need for calm, while others saw it as evidence that firepower is needed if Fulham are to make their promotion dreams into reality.
