Leeds United are bracing themselves for an FA fine after a number of objects were thrown from the crowd onto the Elland Road pitch during Saturday's 3-2 win over Millwall.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, any charge would relate to objects thrown after Millwall's players celebrated Ben Marshall's penalty in front of the South Stand which houses a section of the home support.

That penalty had put the visitors 2-1 ahead, before goals from Luke Ayling and Pablo Hernandez - his second of the match - secured the win for Leeds.

The club have already been fined on two separate occasions this season: The EFL fined them £20,000 over the "spygate" sage, while they were forced to pay £5,000 to the FA following a touchline scuffle during the 2-1 win over Bolton in February.

Following news of the potential investigation, a number of Leeds fans took to Twitter to react to the reports, with many suggesting that the incident had more to do with the actions of those on the pitch in Millwall colours.
