It could be a busy January transfer window for Middlesbrough.
Injuries have been piling up over recent weeks which means that the New Year could be the ideal opportunity for Jonathan Woodgate’s side to strengthen ahead of what could be a demanding second half of the season.
But while incomings are a priority, the Teessiders could also see some players head for the exit door.
Reports over the weekend have suggested that Darren Randolph could be one of the players attracting attention.
90min.com have reported that the goalkeeper is attracting interest from West Ham United, with the Premier League side already entering talks for the 32-year-old.
While it’s unconfirmed whether this is the case, it wouldn’t be a surprise to one of Middlesbrough’s star player attracting admiring glances from higher up the food chain.
Randolph actually left West Ham for Teesside in 2017, but after proving himself as one of the best ‘keepers in the Championship it could be the case that they’re preparing to bring him back.
As you’d expect, supporters have responded to the speculation with one fan posting the story in a Middlesbrough supporters’ group on Facebook.
