‘We need 2 strikers in at least’ – Loads of Charlton fans offer thoughts regarding club’s transfer business

Charlton Athletic will be looking to add further numbers to their injury-plagued squad after making a positive start to the transfer window with the loan signing of Andre Green from Aston Villa.

Green spent the first half of the season on loan at promotion-chasing Preston, but he will add some much-needed depth to the Addicks’ attacking unit after seeing his temporary move to London confirmed early on in the month.

Lee Bowyer will now be weighing up further potential moves for players as the transfer window progresses, and News Shopper is reporting they are close to signing Blackpool striker Armand Gnanduillet, while Sheffield United defender Kean Bryan is also on the verge of completing a permanent move, according to The Sun’s transfer centre (January 8).

It would represent good business if the South Londoners could seal moves for both these players ahead of their clash with West Brom this weekend, but the extend of the club’s injury problems means Bowyer ideally needs further additions during the remainder of the window.

Addicks HQ took to Twitter to ask supporters which other positions the club needs to strengthen before the end of the month:
