Bradford City have recently appointed Stuart McCall as their new manager, as he links up with the Bantams for the third time in his managerial career.

He succeeds Gary Bowyer who was dismissed from his role in charge at Valley Parade after a dismal run of form saw Bradford slip out of the top-seven in League Two.

The Bantams are currently sat eighth in the fourth tier standings, and will be hoping they can make a swift return to League One following their relegation last season.

One Bradford City fan has suggested in one of the club's fan groups on Facebook that McCall could be the manager to guide them to automatic promotion, instead of finishing inside the play-off places.

Plenty of Bradford City supporters took to Facebook to issue their thoughts on this suggestion as to whether they can win promotion automatically this season under McCall's guidance.

Take a look at the best of the reaction below....

Ann Paterson: "That would be great but Wembley would be acceptable."

Trevor Wilkinson: "It's not a certainty we will go up or get to the playoffs so I will be happy to see positive football."

Jamie Kitson: "Be lovely but that would require a gigantic turn around in these players immediately not three weeks down the line. But you never know."

Scott Pedley: "I think if we win both of these back to back home games we have a real shot at top-three."

Danny Whittingham: "We are in relegation form....we need to hope and dream but also calm down and be realistic....making plays offs would be an achievement everything considered."

Gary Smith: "Next five games will have a big bearing 9 points plus and it's on."

Matt Brackenby: "I don't think we will get the play offs."
