Cast your minds back to July 1st 2017, QPR supporters, as it was a day where you made a signing that has certainly proved to be an impressive bit of business by the club.

It was the day where QPR confirmed the signing of Josh Scowen, following his release from Barnsley at the end of the season.

See below how QPR supporters reacted to his arrival at the time...

It's safe to say that Scowen certainly has settled into life at Loftus Road quite comfortably and has been a strong option to rely upon for Steve McClaren's side since he signed for the club.

The midfielder has gone on to make 49 appearances for the London-based club and has been impressive throughout his time with the Hoops.

The 25-year-old hasn't been a regular this season for McClaren's side, though, with nine of his 23 league appearances coming from the bench.

But Scowen has been impressive when called upon by the QPR boss and he'll be hoping to play his part as QPR aim for a positive end to the season.

McClaren's side are currently sat 14th in the Championship table, but are only eight points adrift of the top six, which will give supporters some hope of an exciting end to the campaign.

Scowen will be hoping to nail down a regular starting spot in the QPR side in the near future, and he's certainly proven to be a good signing for the Hoops - especially on a free transfer.
