Queens Park Rangers have endured a tough start to the Championship season, with Steve McClaren’s side in the relegation zone at this early stage of the campaign.

McClaren watched his side ship 13 goals in their opening four fixtures of the season, but since then things have been looking up for the R’s.

In their last two outings QPR have managed to keep consecutive clean sheets, picking up four points to send them into the international break with something to be positive about.

That upturn in results coincided with some of the club’s late summer transfer business, with Tomer Hemed and Nahki Wells added to McClaren’s squad.

QPR’s attack now has a fresh look to it, with Hemed and Wells sure to feature more often than not over the course of their time at Loftus Road.

Here at FLW, we take a look at other members of QPR’s squad who might not feature as regularly, identifying TWO we expect to depart in January…

With Hemed and Wells on board, Sylla’s game time will become a lot more limited.

That will be frustrating for the striker, who will believe he is better than such a limited role.

Sylla could be pushing for a move.

Smith is another striker who has been pushed down the pecking order following QPR’s late transfer business.

The powerful striker offers a useful alternative, but he’s another that won’t be happy sat around on the bench.

If regular football isn’t coming Smith’s way, expect him to be on the move.
