It looks set to be a summer of change at the Madejski Stadium, with Paul Clement preparing for his first transfer window as Reading’s manager.

There are still four fixtures of the Sky Bet Championship season remaining, and although relegation is still threatening Reading, they should have enough to survive.

After failing to build on last season’s promotion push, Clement has been brought in to replace Jaap Stam at the Madejski and it is hard to imagine the new Reading manager will not want to put his own twist on the playing squad in the summer.

Of course, Clement will be focusing on getting points on the board before turning his attention to summer, but he will still have one eye on a key couple of months for the Royals.

With that in mind, we take a look at Reading’s squad and identify THREE players who we are expecting to leave before July 1st

Anssi Jaakkola is likely to be offloaded in the summer.

The goalkeeper was a Jaam Stam signing and you get the feeling that Paul Clement will move him on in the summer.

Mendes has hardly featured in blue and white this season, and is likely to be on the way out of the club in the summer.

It is hard to see how the 27-year-old will be a player Clement takes forward into next season.

Kermorgant’s injury troubles have hindered his involvement this season, but the Frenchman has struggled to build on last season’s goalscoring heroics.

The striker has already considered retirement and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him take that route in the summer, despite still having another year on his deal.
