Middlesbrough dropped out of the play-off places last night as they lost to Sheffield United and Millwall beat Bolton Wanderers.

For many recently, Boro have been the favourites to get that final top six place and, though they're still well in contention to do that still, their odds might have just drifted a little bit.

Certainly, they need to buck their ideas up after last night's loss at Bramall Lane because otherwise they could be facing another year in the second tier.

Whilst we wait to see what happens in terms of that, though, it's clear that the Teesside club will have a lot of changes happen to the playing squad in the summer.

Tony Pulis will want to mould the squad some more into his liking and that should mean that exits are on the cards.

That said, then, let's take a look at three players we at Football League World think will be shown the door...

Marvin Johnson quickly fell down the pecking order under Pulis and has hardly had a sniff of action since the Welshman's arrival.

He showed glimpses of what he could do at this level earlier in the season but hasn't really had much of a go of things this season.

That said, then, you could see him moving on when the window opens up.

Fletcher is out on loan at Sunderland where he is still looking short of confidence and, therefore, goals.

He's got talent in there but because he's hardly played in recent seasons he looks incredibly rusty.

Certainly, he needs more games to try and unlock his potential but you can't see that happening at Boro and so he'll surely move on.

Guedioura is another man who will more than likely leave the club in the summer window.

He's had a tough campaign where he has played little and even his loan move to Forest hasn't yielded much playing time with Jack Colback and Ben Watson around.

There's certainly room for him to play somewhere at the right club but it could just be that Boro is not the team for him.
