Bristol City recorded a much-needed win last night to stay firmly in the play-off race with a 3-1 win over Birmingham City.

The Robins have faltered recently and looked like they were falling out of the play-off picture but the win last night keeps them within touching distance of their rivals with some huge games coming up.

Lee Johnson’s men had enjoyed a terrific first-half of the season, where they were competing with the top two at one stage.

As well as that, they attracted plaudits thanks to their remarkable run in the Carabao Cup and the football they were playing.

Yet, they have stuttered in 2018 and no matter what happens it’s something the manager will look to rectify in the summer.

That could see a few arrivals as well as some departures.

Here we look at three players who could leave Ashton Gate very quickly at the end of the season…

The German midfielder hasn’t made the positive impact that Johnson would’ve hoped for since joining given the number of Bundesliga games he has played.

This year has been frustrating for the player given he suffered a serious knee injury late last year but he still has failed to make much of an impression before that or since coming back.

A move in the summer would suit the player and the club.

The big striker is another who hasn’t found top form since arriving in English football.

With his physique and power in the air, Djuric is a decent option at times for the Robins but his goal record just isn’t good enough.

He has two this season and four in 25 in his entire Bristol City career.

The former Cesena man will have a role to play between now and the end of the season but he needs to seriously improve if he is to stay for next season.

Diony is only on loan but there’s no way Johnson will be looking to make the deal permanent in the summer after the way it has gone for the striker.

There was some excitement at his arrival with many hoping he would provide the additional firepower to help take the Robins up.

However, seven games and no goals tells its own story and the 25-year old is now a long way down the pecking order.

He may have already played his last game for the club.
