It is now six games without a victory for Sheffield Wednesday, with Carlos Carvalhal’s side struggling in 15th heading into today’s round of fixtures following last night’s 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was a spirited display from Sheffield Wednesday against the Championship’s leaders, however, Carvalhal’s side did not have the quality required to break Wolves down, with Ruben Neves’ classy first-half finish enough to secure all three points.

Despite enjoying large spells of the game and looking threatening throughout, the Owls failed to force John Ruddy into a meaningful save, with the ex-England goalkeeper once again enjoying a stress free evening of Championship football.

Following the game, Carvalhal spoke to Wednesday’s official website, claiming that he felt his side deserved something from last night’s contest, as their performance warranted more.

Carvalhal is under huge pressure at Hillsborough, with Wednesday failing to make any sort of impact in the Championship’s play-off race.

Following his comments after the defeat to Wolves, here is how the club’s supporters reacted…
