Birmingham City have experienced an adequate start to the Championship season and currently sit in 16th place.

Monk's side have made themselves a resilient unit this season, however, and have lost just twice in their opening ten games.

Although, they have won just once as well, meaning draws have been a frequent occurrence for the Blues so far this campaign with their sole victory coming away to Leeds United.

One of their stand out performers in that time has been frontman Lukas Jutkiewicz.

The 29-year-old has scored three goals and assisted two more during the opening matches of the season, including both goals as the Blues came from behind to draw 2-2 with Ipswich Town on Saturday.

So, is the former Middlesbrough and Burnley man criminally underrated at St. Andrew's?

We discuss...

Chris Gallagher

It's a tough one.

On one hand, yes, without a doubt. He has great physicality, is a team player and bullies centre-backs.

Yet, you can't get away from the fact that he doesn't score enough goals and hasn't throughout his career.

Alfie Burns

I think we are about to see just how good Jutkiewicz can be.

James Beattie is part of Garry Monk’s coaching staff and he has a track record of getting the best out of strikers like Jutkiewicz.

We could be looking at a revival similar to Chris Wood.

George Hareby

He may not get the goals he deserves, but I believe that Jutkiewicz is underrated at Birmingham.

His presence up top works wonders alongside Che Adams and, with perseverance, he’ll get the goals to fire Blues up the league.

Louie Chandler

I don't think so.

Yes he has done well for the Blues but has been nothing special. He has simply done what you would expect a striker to do.

If he can do that more consistently over the rest of the season then it could be worth getting excited about.
