Reports from today’s The Sun (Print edition, page 51) have revealed that former Premier League champions Leicester City are planning a surprise move for Nottingham Forest midfielder Ben Osborn.
The 23-year-old is a graduate of the Nottingham Forest academy and has made 142 appearances for the senior side since being promoted in 2014.
Osborn, who mainly plays as a central midfielder or on the left-hand side, is valued at £10 million by his club and with the transfer deadline just around the corner Forest need an offer ASAP to give themselves time to find a replacement.
The midfielder made 46 league appearances for Mark Warburton’s side last season and has become a bit of a fan favourite amongst the majority of the supporters of the club.
On that note, what do the Reds fans think of this possible deal?
FLW writer Adam Goacher has taken to Twitter to find out exactly what the fans from the City Ground think about Ben Osborn’s potential departure…
As much as some people don't appreciate Ben Osborn, I really don't think we can afford to lose him. #NFFC

#NFFC 10 mil for Ben Osborn? Surely we must sell, but we have a history of selling and not replacing, which worries me.

I like Ben Osborn, but if Leicester City are to offer £10m for him, I would snap their hands off. #NFFC

Ben Osborn worth £10 million? Not a chance! I'd take half of that! #nffc
